The OFIBC offers first-rate training in organic farming. Unique in Canada, OFIBC training is designed to meet the needs of farmers. Courses are built around in-depth training on working organic farms. The Similkameen Valley is the perfect place for an organic farming training centre. It has the highest concentration of organic farms in Canada.

OFIBC courses are designed for farmers by experienced organic farmers. The online science and technology component provides practicing farmers with all they need to understand about the how and why of organic soil management, composting, pruning, pest management and the other practical aspects of organic farming. Field training on working organic farms reinforces the knowledge learned online.
